I think that, in order to fully enjoy the life you’ve got, you need to appreciate those around you

Lately I have been working on focusing on the great qualities of everyone I interact with (family, friends, acquaintances, or even random people), because I have realized that you can learn something from everyone.  These learned qualities may end up changing a part of your life and teaching you something that you will always be grateful for later on.  I cannot even begin to list all of the really small things that someone has said to me or taught me that I have later remembered (seemingly for no reason) at the perfect time.  I think that it’s impossible to know how much you can really affect someone and would be surprised to find out later in life that a small comment or gesture made someones day or helped them get through a tough time.

Appreciation for others changes my outlook and really allows me to understand how lucky I am.  Because life is so unpredictable and our next breath is never guaranteed, I am beginning to work on letting people know that they are loved and appreciated.  Most importantly, your family needs to always know about your unwavering unconditional love for the ones that have always been there for you.  I’ve found that just telling them can make a huge difference in their lives.

My husband is so great at telling me that he appreciates me and I am learning from him every day.

I appreciate everyone who made this memory possible!
